Scheme of Studies, Syllabus and Model Question Papers
(For and from Annual Examination 2008)

Contents of the bifurcated syllabus of each subject for class IX are given below. The booklets already provided, vide FBISE's letter No.2-8/FBISE/RESH/269 dated 08-05-2006, may be consulted for supplementary information (Click here). It is reiterated that the style of the questions and the format of the question papers will remain unchanged and in conformity with the model papers already notified for the composite SSC examination (Click Here). However, Paper A and Paper B of English (Compulsory) and Urdu (Compulsory) shall become Paper-I and Paper-II for class IX and class X, respectively, with equally bifurcated contents of text and grammar. For these two subjects, newly prepared model question papers are given with the below given syllabus links.

Note: The question paper will comprise three sections:
- Section-A 20% MCQs. It will be compulsory and collected after prescribed time.
- Section-B 50% short answers questions.
- Section-C 30% long/essay type questions.
